Life As I See It

Summer At It’s Best

In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.
Albert Camus

The silence of the darkness, the sounds of nature, the aroma of wildflowers, the moon’s reflection of love, the stars flickering with brilliance, fill the air with a sense of feeling free.  The warm summer breeze gliding through your hair, the music bursting through you ears, as you drive aimlessly, not knowing where to go.  Peace and harmony replenish what was misplaced months before.

The summer’s end is at a faint distance.  The moisture filled air will soon evaporate and fill with a crisp feeling of Autumn.  The sultry days and the blue skies dissolve into a cool, gray covered overcast.  Nature waits to bare it’s petals.

The days are shorter, the nights are longer.  The tranquility and stimulation of summer turns into agitation and reservation of winter.  The absence of warmth dampen the soul, with colorless days.  The energy dissipates, as the winter struggles to  it’s end.
