Life As I See It

Happy Birthday To A Friend I Thought Would Never Be.

Five years ago an arrogant, pig-headed, ass of a  man came to my blog and posted a message in the comment section to a fellow blogger because she blocked him from her blog.  He wanted to rectify a miscommunication that had happened a few days earlier.  It went something like this:

Hey capricorn.
The only reason I came was to let it be known that I tried to apologize to heather and Spank.
Unfortunately I have been blocked from her site.
Whats even more unfortunate is that at first I felt really bad. But now I dont. It seems that its prevalent among that crowd to talk shit about someone without giving them the ability to answer back.
Pretty chicken shit, if you ask me.
Please relay my sentiments to Spank letting her know that I think shes a judgmental selective bitch with no guts.
I would never allow someone to be falsely or wrongly spoken of on my blog without letting them have a chance to apologize or defend themselves.

If you want to recap you can read the whole conversation here.

Since then a friendship has grown and in the end I got a big brother I never had.

Happy birthday Mick!  You deserve the best damn birthday party anyone could give. After a long rough life you, and you alone, pulled yourself together and made a life for yourself.  You chose life.  You deserve to celebrate that not just once a year but everyday thereafter, which I’m sure you do.

I hope there are many more.

Peace.

Caminho a percorrer, Mick!

      Cappie, paz!.

  6. You agreed with me a while back when I said “I told you so”
Well, heres my estimation of the most destructive, incompetent man to ever hold the Executive.

Just like the old adage of seeing something half empty instead of half full, many are viewing the Supreme Court’s decision on Obamacare as a purely negative outcome. Sure, I would have liked the court to rule constitutionally and in a responsible fashion. Sure, I would have preferred the court use the law to base their decision instead of failed socialist ideologies. It would have also been nice to see the court use their power for the good of the nation instead of heading it towards a path ofbankruptcy and despair.
However, in the Supreme Court’s infinite wisdom they voted to uphold the Marxists principles which Obama holds so dearly. Though many despair because of this mindless decision, I see a positive side that far outweighs the negative which seem to hang so heavily over America’s future.
Why? The answer is simple and can be summed up in one word: Complacency. It might seem over simplistic but it actually makes sense when you think about. First, you have to ask yourselves what got General Secretary Obama elected? It was the opposite of complacency: Motivation.
What the Democrats did in the last presidential election was motivate their base to go out and vote in droves. They got them to the polls. Through rhetoric such as hope and change they made everyone out in American feel as if they alone could make a difference just by voting for Obama. They made it feel that a vote for Obama would change the country for the better; a vote for Obama would make your life better; a vote for Obama would turn America into a true utopia. Though Obama and his failed policies could do none of this, people felt as if he do all of this and more. They were thus motivated to go out and vote.
However, times have changed. Obama is in power and his greatest assault against American freedom and Capitalism, Obamacare, was upheld. Now I ask: where’s the motivation to Obama’s supports? They already have what they want. If, however, Obamacare was repealed, there would have been a battle cry sent out by Obama and his Himmler-esk cronies. They would have berated the Republicans, chastised the courts and made it a point that if Obama were voted out of power this November, things would go back to the way things were during former President Bush’s times. Obama would have sent the fear of God into people and made them think if Romney got into office, a Republican-driven Supreme Court would repeal civil rights, women’s suffrage and all welfare-type programs. They would have painted a picture of the future filled with despair, filled with greedy capitalistic clones of Romney economically squashing the other 99% of society.
Instead of chanting, “Remember the Maine, down with Spain”, they would be shouting, “Remember Obamacares, throw Romney down the stairs!” (Maybe not exactly, but I just wanted it to rhyme). It would have again provoked the masses to go and cast a vote towards economic insolvency- I mean for Obama.
Now you have to ask: who is motivated now? I can tell you. All the Republicans, members of the Tea party, the working class, people who actually pay taxes and everyone who owns any size business across the country. Now, we have the motivation. We have the battle cry. We have more a reason now to vote Obama out of office than before!
In fact, I’d like to thank the Supreme Court for their ruling. For at this moment the tide has turned against Obama and the path to his exit from the White House has become visible. Thank you for your nearsightedness. Thank you for your demagoguery. Thank you for total disregard to the Constitution. For it is through this act of total ignorance that we Americans will take back the White House and elect a real American into office!

Seu amigo nos bons e maus,
      Antonio

      —–

You have a good grasp on the situation, Senor Mick, and are more right than wrong in your lengthy and perceptive comment about CJ Roberts decision. The morning the decision was announced I was dismayed, as were most conservatives watching the issue. Fortunately I found a few rational voices on the right who shed some perspective on his finding, and his departure from the conservatives on the court. Most notably Clarice Feldman in her article at American Thinker which was posted in haste as she was departing that day for her vacation. I leave all the hand wringing and conjecture to the so-called experts, most of whom reside inside a bubble anyhow. Roberts simply said to the American public that the SCOTUS was not the place to correct their lazy indifference about who they permit to craft the laws. If they didn’t like the ACA, then it was up to them to do something about it. Other tactical factors weighed on Roberts, I am sure. Bottom line is that it is up to the American electorate to clean their house, grow up, and put the people who can be trusted to uphold the Constitution and traditional American values in office.

The council of elders aboard the mother ship hovering in the lenticular clouds that shroud Mt Shasta are watching this campaign closely, and offer their best wishes for a happy outcome in November. They encourage all citizens to keep their hardware clean, oiled, and in good condition, and to stock up on ammunition while it is still available.

Your friend through thick and thin,

      • Thank you sir.
I’ve been dying to get off this rock 3000 miles out in the middle of the Pacific for few years,.But recently it appears my home may be the safest place on earth as we can be totally self sustained, while being one of few multi cultures on earth that functions peacefully.
Should this arrogant Marxist King remain in the same seat your advice/reasoning may very well be of necessity .
The word needs to be spread of the opportunity that all Americans were inadvertently given.Lets pray the festering anger is used wisely and peacefully.
Because if too many fail to recognize what we believe was a motivation to correct a wrong like we’ve never seen in 237+ years there will be tyranny, to say the least.

        Aloha…

and try to find out what dingbat is/has been doing.
        I’m having e mail problems.

  8. This dingbat has been going through some shit with Mini. Yeah her again. First she wanted to take my BFF and move to NZ. You heard right. Fucked up, eh? I thought if it went through I would never she her again but she, cough cough, assured me she would be home 3 or 4 times a year. Mick, I did not take this very well. Once she grew up for a week she realized that it wasn’t feasible so she decided to move to Clearwater Fl.

Just when I was getting used to the idea and thinking I would see my BFF more often than not, her asshole ex husband up and moved to Ohio. So this is what I have been dealing with for the last two months.

And what….I step out for a few and you turn my blog into politics.

Carry on, it might be the only thing my three readers have in common. Well, except for me.

      Antonio

      ———————————–

      Happy Birthday, Senor Mick2
Forwarded to you today from the Council of Elders aboard the mothership that hovers above Mt Shasta:
The Council wish to express their best wishes for your long and fruitful life, and have dispatched a special emmisary through the Lemurians, the tall and graceful survivors of the Ancient Race of Lemuria, and descendants of the same gene pool which inhabits the secluded forests of your home islands, the Menehune. Regarding the origins and existence of the Menehune, the Council urges you to discount the academic bilge spewed forth by the ivory tower dwellers of academe, to wit, “that the legends of the Menehune are a post-European contact mythology created by adaptation of the term manahune (which by the time of the settling of the Hawaiian Islands had acquired a meaning of “lowly people” or “low social status” and not diminutive in stature) to European legends of brownies.[3] Menehune are not mentioned in pre-contact mythology; the legendary “overnight” creation of the Alekoko fishpond, for example, finds its equivalent in the legend[4] about the creation of a corresponding structure on Oʻahu, which was supposedly indeed completed in a single day – not by menehune, but, as a show of power, by a local aliʻi who demanded every one of his subjects to appear at the construction site and assist in building.”

The truth of their origins is rooted in the catastrophe which befell the continent of Lemuria over 12,000 years ago, and their propagation and viability is extended by the continuing contact with the Lemurian population of Mt Shasta who dwell in the deep subterranean cavens and suboceanic tunnels which connect to those secret portals on the slopes of Hawaii’s majestic volcanos.

The mission of the Lemurian special emmisary is to enlist the assistance of the Menehune in providing an overwatch for you and your loved ones that no misfortunes might befall you as you venture off the beaten tracks into the heart of the secret places.

      Happy Birthday!

      Antonio

    http://ragesnpagesagainstthemachine.wordpress.com/

Less about me, more about the jerks screwing up our country, and world.
Now I just have to come up with the energy to write posts on a consistent basis.
Posts that carry more than the stupid shit everyone else likes to feed on.
The only way were going to prevent assholes like the one in office now from ever happening again is if we start holding EVERYONE in and out of government to the standards that made this country so fuckin awesome.
You get out there and talk to people like I do you’ll realize that its getting really hard for everyone.
As much as they try to hide it, after some prodding most admit they’re having to improvise and cut back in ways they never thought they’d have to.
My wife is a cashier at CVS and is witness to changing spending habits by people who normally bought what they wanted at will.
If we dont pull our collective heads out of our asses NOW they’ll be up there forever.
